Maybe I should have photoshopped that in. it does not mention any of the existing "bibliographic managers". So youd have to bookmark the endnote reference (or text adjacent to it) in the text. It would be handy if the NoteRef field would reference the page on which the endnote is referenced unfortunately, it references the page on which the note occurs, so thats no help. All the endnotes are imported and added in a new text frame. Its easy enough to format the Endnote Reference style to Hidden. This opens up a dialogue box where you can search for a reference by author. Now, you can also import a word document having endnotes using import option. OR from the EndNote tab in Word, you can also use Insert Citation > Find Citation. This is corroborated by its description the New Features description: This is why there are lots of dedicated Bibliography plugins for Word, even though it also has both footnotes and endnotes right out of the box. The only reference to references I find in the online help ( Endnotes) is how to adjust the style of the number itself. Everything following the endnotes in the first chapter are formatted as. Following the endnotes in the first chapter, I've attempted without success to 'INSERT PAGE.' MS Word does not permit me to insert a page following the endnotes of the 1st chapter, where the second chapter begins. Step 1 Create a new Bibliography in Word. They do exactly what they are supposed to do, never minding what Adobe says they could be used for (as you just now found out, either they are flat wrong about that, or they are envisioning a much more simplified version of the common references I - and you - are used to). The problem arises when attempting to add the 2nd chapter. You then have to highlight each section of the reference, and drag-and-drop it into the appropriate field. It does make sense if you consider them the same as footnotes (and the only difference is their placement).
